Shipping Costs

NordicStore International Shipping Information

  • We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Shipping cost depends on package weight, shipping method, and destination.
  • We offer 3 choices of shipping your Icelandic products:
  1. DHL Priority Service: This option is for those who want their products delivered fast. Shipping time is usually 24-48 hours days (plus 24 hours collecting the items, excluding weekend days).
  2. Regular Airmail – Post A: This is the most used shipping method. It combines relatively fast shipping and reasonable pricing. Estimated shipping time is 4-8 working days days (plus 24 hours collecting the items, excluding weekend days).
  3. Economy Mail – Post B: This is the slowest shipping method. It is best for heavy shipments that do not need to be shipped fast. Estimated shipping time is 2-4 weeks days (plus 24 hours collecting the items, excluding weekend days).

    All perishable items are shipped with FedEx international priority service, shipping time is 24-48 hours. They are packed in Styrofoam boxes with cooling packs to maintain cool temperature within the box during shipping. All boxes are clearly marked "Keep Refrigerated" and they are placed in a refrigerator during transit stops. In addition the low temperature of aircraft cargo holds helps to protect your products.

Customs

You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from NordicStore.net, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Also, we may provide certain order, shipment and product information, such as Brands, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.

There are no additional fees, customs duties or Taxes charged in Iceland for export. For products to be delivered in Iceland, a VAT of 24,5% will be added.

Note to International Customers

We accept all international orders except from Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea and Africa.

If your country does not appear in our order form, then we can not accept credit card orders from that country. You will need to send us the payment in advance.

We reserve the right to change the requested method of shipping if a more suitable method is available.

DHL International Priority Service, Airmail - Post A and Economy Mail - Post B have no service guaranty and sometimes may take longer to deliver than expected.

DHL may charge you an extra fee if you provide the incorrect shipping address.

Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped.

In all cases, NordicStore.net will not be responsible for any shipping and handling charges to and from NordicStore.net, or paying or refunding customs fees, taxes, or VAT that may be due.

All of the data on products, including but not limited to, the prices and the availability of any product feature, is subject to change without notice by the manufacturers. NordicStore.net intends to update information and data listed on the site where appropriate but shall not be liable for any inaccuracies.
